August 24 – Home, safe and sound, but sad to leave Ireland. The best vacation ever. The photos are great but my favorite photos of the scenery are the posts from August 10, 15, 16 and 20.

August 23 – more sights in Dublin (Irish name Baile Átha Cliath). The English name comes from the Irish Dubh Linn meaning “black pool”. Originally founded as a Viking settlement, it evolved into the Kingdom of Dublin and became the island’s primary city following the Norman invasion in the 12th century.
